I don't have many examples of infographics... so I kind of threw together a sample of me as a designer.

Some interesting (or not so interesting) things about me.

The bottom "stats" are based off what most people seem to like of mine. Since I stopped posting comics and drawings, I noticed many people stopped talking to me/ my art isn't commented on or viewed much anymore. My older polls also show that as well. I honestly don't care either; I love design, and love what I do. Just something I strongly feel for, in many ways I think it is kind of sad if anything. For my watchers who enjoy my work regardless (I know I have some), thanks! This isn't supposed to offend anyone, but it is a truth I found based off actual results.

This is currently a WIP. I have been working on elements for infographics, figured this would be a good start to something.

Maybe I will do one on axolotls or something next.

Thank you!

Yes indeed! I find for me, most of my ideas come from me sitting there drinking coffee- so it then kind of becomes a tool as a part of the creative process.

Oh absolutely. I'm not working as a designer, and wonder if I ever will (have a degree in design, working at a bookstore right now, studying to go back to school for computer science), but I definitely am most productive sitting at a coffee shop with my sketchbook.

You could always work as a freelancer and just expand your portfolio on your own- I know plenty of talented young individuals who never went to college and are doing design/ art. I mean granted the business/ law end to it is a great help- but for the most part just by you sitting and drawing showcases you are a creative individual and employers love to see/ hear that. I don't think it hurts if you want to try out design or digital mediums. I'm always trying something new!

Oh absolutely :) More what I was saying is I'm not sure I want to do it professionally.

You could always try it for fun and see if you like it before you go professional. :) I actually know plenty of great free resources for design to help you get started if you are ever interested.
